1980s backless evening dress, by John Charles, size 10

Beautifully elegant black evening dress by John Charles from the 1980s. The bodice has halter neck straps which fasten at the nape of the neck with two buttons. Fabric is gathered all around the bodice to create a draped effect. The dress is largely backless except for a multi strap pattern. Fastens at the centre back with a zip. The skirt has a draped, wrap over front with pleats under the empire line. The whole dress is fully lined with boning in the bodice.

Excellent condition, there is just a small defect/hole on the bust where it looks like the fabric has caught (please see last picture).
